Amberlight Beauty was born from over two decades spent in the fashion industry, years of studying skin science, and a belief that skincare should support us—not make us feel like we're constantly falling short.
After moving from the London to New York to further my modelling career, my skin developed some of the worst acne I had ever experienced. Years of heavy makeup, travel, stress, changing climates and demanding schedules had left my skin increasingly sensitive and reactive.
At the same time, I found myself drawn back to science.
I went on to study cosmetic science and later spent two years working alongside an aesthetic doctor whose holistic approach to skin health deeply resonated with me. Together, those experiences taught me that healthy skin is about far more than the products we apply. Skin health is connected to hormones, stress, nutrition, lifestyle, environment, and overall wellbeing.
That understanding became the foundation of Amberlight Beauty.
Today, as a mother in my mid-forties, I understand that skin changes. Time becomes more limited. Hormones shift. Perimenopause and menopause bring new challenges. What worked in our twenties often no longer serves us.
Yet the beauty industry continues to tell women that aging is something to fight.
I don't believe that.
I believe aging is a privilege.
I believe skin deserves support, nourishment and understanding—not criticism.
